Established a decade ago, the TeNeT Group is today a coalition of 14 faculty from the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering Departments of IIT-Madras who work together towards a few common goals in research and product development. The focus is to address pressing needs of India and other developing countries by market-driven product development, strengthening of Indian telecom/networking industry, technical training and education, and driving telecom/IT policy. Its vision is "World-class Technology at an Affordable Price".

infoDev is a global development financing program among international development agencies, coordinated and served by an expert Secretariat housed in the Global ICT Department (GICT) of the World Bank, one of its key donors and founders. It acts as a neutral convener of dialogue, and as a coordinator of joint action among bilateral and multilateral donors—supporting global sharing of information on ICT for development (ICT4D), and helping to reduce duplication of efforts and investments.
IFMR Trust is a private trust whose mission is to ensure that every individual and every enterprise in India has complete access to financial services. Working with several partners IMFR advocates for system changing that would enable development of an inclusive financial system. It strengthens its efforts by research and operations in all those areas where Indian financial system has failed to evolve effective models and the need for demonstrated success is high. It has a very strong understanding of mainstream markets.
LIRNEasia is a regional information and communication technology (ICT) policy and regulation think tank active across the Asia Pacific. It’s mission is to to improve the lives of the people of the emerging Asia-Pacific by facilitating their use of ICTs and related infrastructures; by catalyzing the reform of laws, policies and regulations to enable those uses through the conduct of policy-relevant research, training and advocacy with emphasis on building in-situ expertise.
